Venezuelan cocoa shone at the Havana International Fair


Several countries showed interest in this item and products made from it during this event that lasted five days in Cuba.

Cocoa, and its main product derived from this fruit, chocolate, was one of the exportable items exhibited by Venezuela at the Havana International Fair, in Cuba, which generated the most interest among the attending countries.

"The Venezuelan business community is concretizing business intentions and several countries have shown interest in our exportable offer of finished products, in the coffee, cocoa and rum sectors," the Minister for National Commerce, Dheliz Álvarez, who headed the Venezuelan delegation in this fair.

More than 60 Venezuelan companies from different sectors participated in the 38th edition of the Havana International Fair (Fihav), in Cuba, which took place from November 14 to 18.

The delegation was made up of businessmen from the food, construction, textile, telecommunications, chemical, services, beverages and tourism sectors, and was chaired by the Minister of National Commerce.

During the Fihav, highlighted a press release from the Banco de Comercio Exterior (Bancoex), at this fair, Venezuela showed the best of its land, with the exportable offer of coffee, cocoa and rum.
