Prebiomilk is the name of this food supplement developed by the IVIC to care for children at risk of malnutrition in the country.
Scientists from the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research (IVIC) created a chocolate nutritional drink called Prebiomilk, aimed at caring for children at risk of malnutrition in the country.
This drink, whose presentation is powdered, and also comes in chicha and cereal flavors, contains probiotics, prebiotics and vitamins necessary for intestinal health and the child's immune system.
A press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology highlights that this powdered drink, in all its varieties, is lactose and gluten free.

One of the IVIC scientists involved in the project commented that this powdered drink stimulates digestion in children and nourishes more completely than conventional food.
"It is an economic source and we use national raw materials," he added, quoted in the press release.
The purpose of this drink is to address the nutritional deficiencies of children in Venezuela by incorporating it into the social assistance plans developed by the Venezuelan State for populations at risk of malnutrition.
