dark chocolate fondue with marshmellows

This recipe, which we took from Nestlé Savoy's Chocolate for All book, will surely delight the little ones during these school holidays.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Nestlé heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa liquor
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 Savoy Familiar chocolate tablets
  • 15 grams of butter
  • 45 marshmellows

Preparation

  1. In a saucepan, heat the milk cream with the cocoa liqueur, salt and pepper.
  2. Place the chocolate in a container and add the hot cream. Let sit for two minutes and stir to dissolve the chocolate.
  3. Add the butter and stir until melted.
  4. Pour the mixture into the fondue pot, making sure to keep the chocolate warm while eating.
  5. Serve with the marshmellows.
