This pastry and chocolate shop celebrated the opening of its first store in Caracas on April 26, 1975 with its famous profiterole and the classic Greek cake La Spanakopita.
The Caracas pastry and chocolate shop Mozart turned 48 this week and, to celebrate this new anniversary, on their Instagram account they recalled the Greek origin of their delicious recipes.
And it is that its founder, Georges Progonis (1927-2010), who was born in Greece, learned his trade as a pastry chef and chocolatier in this European country.
For this day, Mozart made mini spanakopitas, which is the classic Greek cake, whose main ingredients are spinach and phyllo dough.
As well as the dessert that made this place famous, and which was a creation of Progonis, his profiteroles chocolate filling made with Venezuelan cocoa with its particular sweet caramel tone,
