Feel the flavor of the Caribbean with this delicious combination of ingredients where chocolate, as always, is our best protagonist.
Ingredients
- 1 semisweet chocolate bar, chopped into small pieces
- 1/4 cup of water
- 8 whole eggs, separated the whites with the yolks
- 16 tablespoons sugar
- Coconut Cream and Coconut Chunks
Preparation
- Melt the chocolate with the sugar in a bain-marie, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon to prevent it from cutting.
- Put this mixture to refresh in a container with fresh water while adding the yolks one by one, beating hard so they do not cook.
- Return to moderate heat for five minutes in a water bath without ceasing to beat the mixture vigorously.
- In another container, beat the egg whites by hand or in a mixer until stiff peaks form.
- Join the two mixtures with a surrounding movement and pour it into a mold that must have been cold beforehand in the refrigerator.
- Put in the refrigerator.
When cold, serve in pieces with coconut cream and coconut pieces as garnish. They are also served with a moist sponge cake in your favorite liquor and garnished with whipped cream and chocolate curls, granulated chocolate and ground almonds to taste. Just like with meringue drizzled with shredded coconut mixed with cocoa powder and a little icing sugar.
It says here that chocolate is melted with butter, which butter? In the ingredients they do not say that it has butter, and what is the sugar for? At no time does it say to put sugar in the instructions, they should put more effort into their recipes and give them clearly and not with this poor quality of explanation, there are already several recipes that do something similar
Corrected the error, thank you very much for reading us, have you prepared any of the published recipes?
