With this recipe you will learn how to add the flavor of chocolate to our classic Venezuelan dulce de leche.
- 1 liter of milk
- 1/2 kilo of sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 pinches of baking soda
- dark chocolate powder
- This recipe is going to be prepared in two parts. First, heat half of all the ingredients except the dark chocolate powder and beat until thick.
- When it thickens and comes off the bottom of the pot, lower the heat and continue beating until the paste becomes hard.
- Remove the pasta from the pot and place it on a greased Formica board and roll it over while it is still hot. It is cut into squares.
- Repeat the operation with half of the ingredients but this time add chocolate powder to the milk. These pieces are joined together and the two-color preserves remain. To taste.
